SRT-4 vs 1FSTMINI
 

Well last friday i was up on the "ave" with my peoples and took a few laps to run teh car cuz i was antsy and wanted to go play alil.....So round n round i went until i heard a loud blow off valve comin up behind me at a light....next thing i know a orange srt ran up next to me and let off his valve to temp the BIG mini...so we both came out in 1st and jumped on it as i pulled hard with him until 3rd when he started walkin a car or two on me and we let off ......Round 2. we both slowed down again from a roll in 2nd and then i jumped 1st and we were off and i pulled ahead by a fender as he came up on me again n 3rd........I talked to the kid after and he couldnt believed i even stayed that close let alone at all......he had a stage 2 upgrade...i was happy

Also.....i did have the company Dinan mini out awhile back up there and ran a stg3 and fcked em up.

So we'll see when im totally finished on how this thing is gonna run.....ill b bringin it to the dyno and ill post the results.

very nice...

the biggest problem with SRT4 owners...dodge made the car so cheap, that the people that buy them dont know how to drive them....they always claim traction problems...or wheel hop..its a load of crap...ive seen stage 2 SRT4s running 13.5s! [:'(]

but ive also seen a stock striped out SRT4 run 12.80s...its all on the driver there...nice job...[8D]

Already have it....Im just waiting for the software to be finished.....I had it last week but they called me right when the chip arrived and said there was a problem in the coding and not to use t until they solved the issue.

Oh, ok. How much more power will the chip give you?

The software alone gives u 10hp but combined with the intake,pulley and exhaust the power is at 210.

i know that the stock SRT4 has more power, but i think that the MINI is much lighter...stock SRT4s have been tested to the quarter mile ranging from 13.8-14.2...

1fstmini; what all do you have done to your MINI, powertrain wise? Get that bad boy on a good dyno, and be sure to keep an eye on those IAT's and ECT's while doing so!
