Has anyone had any problems using the factory jack with the car? I tried to take a wheel off the front that had a big bolt in it that I had picked up in my local supermarket parking lot. The jack raised the car up (not enough to get the flat tire off of the ground) and the PLASTIC jack fitting (don't know what else to call it) broke free from the body and the jack collasped and put TWO gouges in my passenger door. I thought it may have been my fault, so I tried again with same results. Furious, to say the least! I called the designers at Mini, not very nice names. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem and what did they do (get a new jack?) for am I the only unlucky one? Thanks.

 

I'm blushing. Guess I'm the only idiot not able to use factory jack. Really!
