i have been looking to get an OBX under drive pulley. now, i have always heard 2 sides. they arent worth it, they are worth it. are they worth getting as far as gain and performance?

I have the 95 Z28 LT1, with an underdrive pulley set. I can't tell you the brand because it's been a while. However, the steering is fine, and I've had no problems with the alternator maintaining charge (although you may if you have a big wattage amp/stereo - mine's only about 200-250 watts). Note down the belt number you need somewhere where you'll remember it - the underdrive belt is a different size (at least it is on mine!), and years down the road, you'll be drawing a blank when the belt you just got at Autozone doesn't fit!

well they are definitely worth it if you are shedding money on the higher end models

you cant expect top performance from average end mods
they are just meant for being there and not exhilirating your performance
