Improved throttle response, a 300 rpm rev-limit increase and MORE POWER!

Dinan's Performance Engine Software bumps peak output to 175 hp @ 7000 rpm and 158 lb/ft torque from engine management tuning alone. In addition to the increased power, the software provides a 7300 rpm rev-limit, allowing you to carry more road speed in each gear as well as optimize shift points. Revised EML tuning provides more immediate throttle response and improved high performance drivability as well. And at $299, Dinan's Performance Engine Software for the MINI represents quite the bang for the buck!

Additional stages of engine software are available for optimum performance from specific combinations of Dinan Performance Products for the MINI Cooper S. Check www.dinancars.com for your local dealer and other products that are available for these killer go-karts.

With just simply bolting on a Intake box and exhaust with this software you will see power around 185hp, and with there boost kit you will bump it up to 210hp.

Nothing yet. Right now I'm working on a Civic as a project car. When I finish the Civic, I'll sell it and have plenty of money to buy a new project car or beef up the Mini.

That's exactly what I'm doing. However, if I can dig up a couple extra dollars, I'll drop in a b18c1 and get a turbo that'll run around 10-12 psi.

That much boost in a c5? He must be running like 150 octane gas to do that. That's why I'm going to a c1 if I boost, because it's got lower compression.

I'm guessing he's probably got forged internals if he is running that much boost though.
