RE: Software
yea......the whole engine is redone

RE: Software
I hope Dinan's claims are somewhere near accurate. Since the stock MINI runs SO pig-rich, it's pretty easy to get 10 wheel HP out of an otherwise bone-stock MCS. For only $300, Dinan's flash program sounds like a good deal. Supposedly the GIAC flash upgrade is solid too. The next step in tunability would be an Apex'i piggyback, and then a UNIchip piggyback. Obviously for the ultimate in ECU's, wire in a Motec M400 :D:D:D[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

RE: Software
Rye you know I still want to do the 4 Motec M400's, one per cylinder.

ORIGINAL: Maximusmini Rye you know I still want to do the 4 Motec M400's, one per cylinder. Hey now there may be children around - stop trying to arouse me! [sm=drooldude.gif] |
RE: Software
It's not my fault I kinda need a better engine management system! Time to do more research!
|
RE: Software
Well the MINI's ECU uses a VERY outdated Infineon C167 processor. My alarm clock has more processing power [>:]

RE: Software
do either of you race your mini?
|
RE: Software
We both Dragon our MINI's, that basically counts double for racing. :D [8D] Maximus does quarter-mile with his, and I track-day mine.
|
RE: Software
what does maximus' car run on the drag strip?
|
RE: Software
yeah, as Ryephile said, the GIAC is a good alternative to Dinan. MTH is the authority in MINI software though, cheaper and more effective than the others.
