I am new to the forum, but was wondering if anyone knows about upgrading the stereo in my 2016 countryman. I have the Radio Mini CD boost. AM/FM/SAT and has bluetooth. it is lackluster as best. I did not get the mini connect because I thought an aftermarket later on would be better. I have not been able to find anything, and I called the dealer and was told it is not able to be upgraded because it is integrated with the computer - eg tire pressure, temp, service, etc.

I recently change to Android from Apple, and it will only make calls via Bluetooth.

I get that, but why would any manufacturer make a car with a stero that can not be upgraded. What happens if it craps out?

Any information, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
