Bump steer

I'm fairly new to the Mini life so I'm wondering if big time bump steer in normal or should I be checking into some suspension work? Stock R56 that has been aligned recently. Thanks.

In case anyone is following this thread, I replaced the struts & the car is behaving much better concerning bump steer. The DS front strut had zero damping left going up or down!
