My vote goes for H-Sport's suspension bits for the MINI. Not badged brand X like some others [ahem], but actually engineered and tested to perform BETTER than what you're taking off! The H-Sport Springs, and Competition sway-bars are bar none (pun, ha!) the best pieces on the market for the MINI. The Springs lower most MINI's about 3/4" front and back, so it's tasteful and still practical. The Springs improve the MINI's handling by using a firmer rear coil, which reduces understeer and makes the MINI more neutral in the corners, as well as reducing body motion overall. The Sway bars are the only tubular chrome-moly pieces on the market, and have adjustment holes to tune their stiffness to your setup desires.
Thumbs up. I love my HSport competition rear sway bar and plan on getting the sport front bar so I can tune the rear to be stiffer without making my car go around corners backwards. As far as suspensions go, I really dig the JCW kit because they're specifically matched to your car and options (weight distribution) while still keeping almost the same height (ground clearence) and still being stiffer.

If you're really looking to do it all up though, I suggest from my research that you tune the chassis bits before upgrading the springs. That means... sway bars, end links, control arms etc.

Also, I've heard good things about the M7 Under Strut System as a finishing touch.

Hello Everyone I’m new this forum and I just opened up a Dismantler shop in Southern California. I decided to specialize in MINI Coopers since there so compact and easy to learn compared to other cars. I’ve filled my warehouse full of MINI parts “original” MINI parts. I’ve got everything from Front end parts, rear ends, quarter panels, engines transmissions, tag axles, struts, springs, headlights, taillights, radios, CD players, air bags, turbochargers, superchargers, intercoolers, floor mats, navigation systems, speedometers, technometers, control arms, struts, drive axles, front and rear seats in leather, leatherette, and cloth, ABS units, throttle bodys, air flow meters, and etc. Call me Tim at 818-768-4800 if you got any questions regarding any part.
