Default 16" v. 17"

I'm ordering a CLubman S.A tire guy/mini enthusiast told there are advantages to the 17" over the 16" wheels/tires, but I don't really want to spend the extra money.

Thoughts? Pros/Cons

Thanks gang!

17's = Less side wall = better handling =stiffer ride=less tire weight=less weight on suspension

16's =more side wall = smoother ride= More tire weight=more weight on suspension

I'd go 16's if its your daily driver, otherwise 17's are great for track days, but a little rougher ride for day to day use.
