215/45/17 - anyone running a set of these?
 

ok so here's the deal. I used to have a 2003 nissan sentra SE-R specV. i bought it with 17" konig verdict wheels on it. i ended up putting some blizzak WS60's or something on them for winter tires for the car and i love them! i only ever got stuck once with that car in some pretty deep @#$%. and it was because i slowed down and eventually sorta ran up on top of the drift. anyways i had the set of 17's for my winter tires and a set of 18's for spring/summer/fall. well i traded that car in when i bought my 06 cooper S and i still have the 17's with my winter tires on them sitting in the shop at home.

Obviously living in iowa i'm going to be needing these but my main concern is if there is going to be any issue with this size? i noticed that some people had posted about putting 18's or even 20's on their mini and as such i dont think that 17's would ever encounter a problem but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask.

i do kind of think its going to be funny going from a 16" wheel/tire combo in the spring/summer/fall to a 17" combo for the winter.
