Winter tires!
 

Hey! As today the winter is outside, I would like to ask mini owners what tires do you usually prefer to have your mini driving firm on the road in winter? What brand of the tires is better for your choice? Please, advise. Thank you!

I'm running Nitto winter treads

By far the finest winter tire that I have ever owned is "Nokian Hakkapeliitta". Currently we have a set on our Volvo XC70 that are on there third winter season. My expierence with driving in winter conditions is fairly long as we lived in Alaska for 35 years driving on ice and snow for at least 6 months solid every year. This tire is simply the best! I don't have these tires on the Mini simply because I choose not to drive the convertable Cooper S 6 spd. in winter conditions. But if I were to put winter tires on it this is what I would choose.
