Default Bought a 2006 .. now questions???

Just bought a 2006 S Convertible that I found in Miami. Fully optioned out car with 38,000 miles. Now the fun begins!

Couple of questions:
1. I have the option to buy a 3 year 48,000 mile warranty for about $2000 (Covers everything except wear items) Should I?

2. The car is a 6 spd and I have always driven manual cars by sound. I can't hear the motor and I don't like it. I don't want to scare the neighbors (no fart cans) but I would like to upgrade the exhaust to one that I can hear. Again, not super loud, but I need to hear the engine above the wind noise with the top down. I saw a Borla full kit for $1000 but would rather not spend quite that much if possible. Any ideas?

3. I center armrest keeps coming open everytime I rest my arm on it. I am thinking of glueing it shut but dont want to loose the little space if I dont have too. Again, any ideas??

Thanks......

Warranty is a personal issue depending on your finances, ability to repair yourself and tons of other things, Research the warranty company and verify what it covers where you can take it and costs to take it in (some have co pays) Also check private ones as most dealers add onto the cost (plus roll it in to financing)

some folks do a "one ball" mod an exhaust shop reroutes the exhaust from the resonator to just the muffler it gives more sound and for $50 to make a pipe it might be worth the gamble

There is a click latch that holds it closed that might be shot
