Question 08 turbo s question

Looking at buying my first mini, it's a 08 s model 101k for 3900 it's manual everything looks good but only thing that is a concern. They said it burns about a quarter every 1000 miles and white and blue smoke when you get on it hard. I read something about oil burning, but a quart every 1000 miles and white/blue smoke on full throttle? I've had multiple turbo cars that have never done that.. thoughts??

Skip it. Find a different one that has less issues. Something is going on and unless you want to spend the money/time diagnosing it, it may not be worth your time. You could request a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) from the seller so that you can have it brought into a MINI indy shop and they can tell you what it is before you buy it. Use this site here: Mini Cooper Repair Shops - Find a Mini Cooper Mechanic | MiniRepairShops to help you find one near you.
