2007 cooper S. Aux not working!!?

2007 cooper S. Aux not working!!?

Aux input located in center underneath radio/speedometer/air controls. Plug in brand new cable, into my phone and nothing. I cant even find the Aux Mode in the controls anywhere!. Theres a USB option but no USB port?!

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue on a 2009 clubman
