We are replacing the engine in our factory 2011 JCW with a 2012 engine.

Was there any hp/ tq or technical differences from 2011 - 2012


If you wanted to add some type of performance enhancement while the engine is out what would be your top three choices?

I'm thinking chip/ECU but Ive never modded my Mini, only my mustangs

I don't want to do any severe changes or reliability risks, this car is my daily driver .

What is best bang for the buck on a JCW motor?

What kind of gains are possible?
