You spent $15k on an eleven year old car... That probably sold new for $16k.
Sorry but that ones on you. |
Has anyone heard from the KGG lawyer Greg lately regarding this. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S and am currently replacing the timing belt because of the same issue.
Thanks |

Timing chain assemblies are serviceable parts
I'm not sure why folks are buying used cars 10+ years old without checking for common faults first. You fell victim to the charm of owning a mini cooper and didn't do your homework. You shouldn't expect BMW or a lawsuit to bail you out of your buyer's remorse. Having said that I personally feel that dealers should not put Mini's on their lots for sale, without repairing the oil leaks and replacing the timing chain. If they're not sure, either don't buy it, or change the timing chain anyway. They damn well know 9/10 Mini's need a timing chain replacement. Many decent dealers will not sell a mini without doing the timing chain.

Good luck with that mate,do you have any understanding of the amount of cars sold with no issues, the amount of cases you would need to investigate to prove correct maintenance had been carried out prior to any failure, the amount of money and top class European lawyers bmw have behind them,I can say 2 things to help you.
1.only in America would it seem a good idea. 2.please have your meds adjusted as the present script is making you have strange ideas. God bless America home of the brave and dumb. |
