Just curious if anyone here has successfully installed a backup camera and rear-view mirror monitor in their Mini. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S that I'd like to install a backup camera system for my daughter and would like to hear the best options. Any advice is very much appreciated. Thank you.

 

I just purchased a Tadibrothers aftermarket camera for a 2016 Mini S, It's the wifes care and she chose not to get the backup camera when she ordered the car has regretted it ever since. Dealer wont add because they say they have to replace entire wiring harness - whatever - this after market one is simple but getting into the dash is my issue. Since its my wife's car I have to be extreeeeeemly careful - I am looking for a good dash disassembly video or exploded drawing and have not found one yet.


Anyway the answer to your question - no yet - i'll post pics or do a video as soon as I find good instructions for myself.
