Buying First Mini JCW
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to join the club with a 2010-2012 r56 JCW, and I need some advice. I'm looking around for something around 40-80k miles and an actual JCW. One of the problems I foresee is people listing their r56S with the JCW tune as a JCW. From what I understand, there are some bolt-ons, cosmetics, but most importantly (to me) are the internal engine components. My main questions for you guys, are there any major noticeable differences that can alert me to someone trying to trick me into buying a r56S at a JCW price? I've seen rim differences and that threw me off because I see r56S rims on a car that's branded JCW on the right hand side of the hatch; IOW proper branding, but improper rims.
TLDR: What are visual cues that can alert me to the differences between a r56S and a JCW between the years 2010-2012?
Thanks to anyone that can help!
