Can someone please advise if an extended warranty is necessary and how much it should be? I have an adorable 2007 Mini Cooper convertible, red of course! Thanks for all responses.

 

I didn't buy it because the warranty doesn't even apply to most of my car anymore.[8D] You can buy it at anytime as long as you're under warranty so, I would wait and see if anything goes south on your car when your warranty is running out.

 

The price I was quoted was at right around 3k... But if you wait until the end of your normal warranty to purchase it, you will save 1k.
