Default FRM Mini Cooper Recall

Hi all, New to this group. Has anyone in New York, Long Island more specifically brought their R56 in for the 2023 FRM recall? Three months ago, I purchased a 2009 Mini Cooper S - Hardtop, Manual. Found out there was a recall going on and she is part of the recall. I dropped her off to Mini of Freeport on 12/26. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told it would take about a day to do the job and now I am being told it will take well over a week to get her fixed. They already sent me a video of all the things that “failed” on the car before even looking at the recall issue (I know, shocking, right?). Once they finally looked at the FRM issue they saw wires were corroded, and that the JBE box was also an issue and that someone had been fiddling with those components previously. They eluding to me with their text messages that the JBE is not covered and because it looks like someone was already touching that area, things might not be covered. I am trying to find out what exactly is covered? I tried calling BMW/Mini recall information and they could only tell me that my car is part of the recall and nothing else - said I need to speak with the dealer as what will be covered. Just curious about other’s experience with out of pocket expenses related to this recall?
