I am repairing a FRM3 R56 using xprog 5.84. I have double and triple checked my wiring but when I read I am only getting 0x0. I paid for a dump file thinking the eprom was wiped when it broke but even if i clear the eprom and write the dump file the log says it worked but when I read the eprom again I get 0x0. Does anyone know what is going on. Am doing this for my parents, and Im not getting patient vibes from them as the car is new to them. If it actually wrote the dump file to the eprom how can I change the Vin ect.
