I just had a new windshield installed in my 2008 MCS but inadvertently ordered a heated windshield. I don’t care about the micro lines in the glass, but it got me wondering how feasible it would be to install a button and wiring to add this option to the car?

possible/worthwhile?

 

Not an expert,but should see it as an easy retro fit,could be wired into the circuit and control for the rear window,best thing give a local auto electrician a visit they will know the fastest and safest way to install,don't want to overload your electrical system.

 

Thanks for the info. It’s become moot now that I discovered that the windshield was mounted with no access to the connectors. Oh well, it was just a thought. 🧐
