You can try pressing down on the hood while someone else pulls on the hood release inside the car. If that does not work, you will need to determine which latch is not releasing as there are 2 latches in play. If the driver’s side latch is not releasing, and your car has a turbo charger, you may have to take the front of the car apart to get to it. Otherwise, you can try using a long, bendable piece of metal that is small in diameter to push up from underneath the car to press on the latch releases on the side of the front of the car that is not releasing and open the hood. I have used this method before with success. It is a very tedious process.
