I just bought a 2008 mini and I want to install my XM radio, I would like to mount it right next to the tach. (left side). I want to be able take that little panel out so that I can mount a bracket to it. Does anyone know how to remove that little panel? The panel is mirrored on the right side of the car and is the glove compartment door, the one that when you push on it, it opens. Please help me. Thanks.

 

I installed mine right infront of the shifter I used velcro and it is a easy way to hook up to the aux port .
