Jack Points for a floor Jack?
'07 Mini Cooper S
Does anyone know where it is safe to jack using a floor jack? I want to jack the front and rear and place jack stands at the four frame locations so the whole vehicle can be up at once for tire rotations and general underbody work. I don't see any obvious jack points in the center front or rear.
Thanks,

If it's like the R53, there isn't one in the back and the one in the front is actually on the transmission. You can safely jack up on the rear subframe which is the easiest way to get the back up at the same time. If you're going to jack up on the transmission put something between that and the jack and be gental.
What I do is just jack up the front just behind the jack point on the frame rail with a piece of wood between the frame and jack then stick my jack stand in there. That should lift the front and rear on that side. Then do the same on the other side.
