Good Morning!


I just bought a car this week and I'm trying to find out a little more about it. Its a 2012, silver gray, and it has the London Olympics stripes across the bonnet (not the stripes shown in the London Olympics 2012 limited edition photos). There is an Olympics insignia on the side. However, it doesn't have the insignia on the roof, or any of the other features that are associated with the London Edition. Can anyone tell me more about this car? I'm trying to figure how many of this style were made, etc.

Thanks for the info. Our car doesn't quite match that description. There is no colored piping on the seats, no Olympic image on the roof, and a couple of other things I can think of right now. That's why it's so confusing. I can't seem to find a car like it anywhere. It's almost in London edition, but not. It has two bonnet stripes with the logo worked in, the Olympic symbol on the side of the car, and the dashboard has the Olympic symbol as well.

 

Post up a picture, some dealerships ordered decals and placed them on stock cars to promote the 2012 Olympics. That's what most likely happened. Or It could have been one of the corporate cars they drove around at that time.
