I just looked at an 08 S model with 48k miles, sport pkg. and cold weather pkg. Private sale asking $16000.00.
Owner bought new and only work done was a warr. tensioner. Are there any other repairs that will due at that milage mark.

I just joined today and know little other than the mini cooper S appeals to me in a huge way! I am looking for a Mini Cooper S no older than an ' 07 with low mileage. My friend owns one and loves it! Is there anything I should be made aware of about the mini that may be a potential problem? I am trying to stay away from dealers and buy from a private owner who has taken great care of their mini.
