this is a 2018 Cooper S with around 30K miles. For several years, this car has idled low and chugs in reverse if not warmed up for a minute. this has not improved with oil changes or sea-foam in oil. the car WAS a little choppy while driving, behaving almost like a misfire while driving but this improved with the sea-foam. I plan to have the car checked by a mechanic soon, changing all the relevant fluids and filters, check plugs etc. anything that should be looked over due to age. It is disappointing, however that the car idles so rough at such a low mileage.

Should I begin with OBD testing?
