Default Low rpm miss 07 S

I have been noticing a low rpm miss in my 07 S. It misses under 2000 RPM at light throttle. It seems to be worse when the car is cold and gets better when it is completely warmed up. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Dont wanna be the bearer of bad new but you might have the problem that all lot of us are having. My car was brand new and only 3 weeks old with 1500k on when this happened. Check out the link.

FYI,

09miniplusone you were right, it was the timing chain tensioner. They fixed it under warranty even though the car was a few miles over 50,000. I didn't even have to argue. I have no complaints about Midwestern Mini in Columbus, Ohio.

Does anybody know how long replacing the timing chain will work. If there is no upgrade it just seems to be only a matter of time before the same problem reappears. I have the problem at 13,000 miles and don't want to pay to get it replaced once a year. PS I drive my Mini very conservatively. I have averaged 34.2 MPG over the 13,000 miles so the problem is not from me abusing the car.

I have been told by the dealership that the fix is permanent. I also checked to see if the new cars have the permanent fix and I am told that cars built after October 09 have the new permanent fix on them from the factory.
