Default MAF error code

Hi y’all!
Just replaced (with a brand new) MAF sensor on our 2009 R56 N14 engine, and the error code disappeared..... good! A new one came on..... not good!
I now have an error code “2B5F DME: Air Mass Sensor Connection Signal”
We did disconnect the battery over night, after replacing, checked the voltage on the signaling wire, and also (just before.new MAF) replaced the HPFP.
Just can’t get rid of that error code.... grrrrrr!
Any suggestions? It will be HIGHLY appreciated :-)

Did you get it fixed? If so, can you say what the problem was? I have that code. Just found a thread saying it was frayed wires and a blown fuse, and I plan to check those items on mine today.
