Media fuse (109) keeps blowing
Hello,
thanks for having me, I’m happy to be a part of this forum, I have a 2014 mini cooper s which for the most part is running ok, yesterday my radio, navigation anything with sound has stopped working.
i assumed it was a fuse because i have not done anything with the amp or any wires leading to and from, I got the glove box off and out of the way and of course after testing every fuse except the last of the bottom row and number 109 a 30 amp fuse was in fact blown, needless to say I was happy to discover this and just a little while ago got back from the auto store with a box of misc fuse amperage fuses, as soon as i put the 30 amp fuse in, it blew, so i tired again and same thing i tried 10, 15, 20 and 25 amp fuses and every time it immediately blew the fuse.
Tried searching this but couldn’t find any direct answers nor any similar problems from other, this is why I joined this forum and if anyone can help please please do so because I don’t know what to do, I certainly cannot afford to take it to a dealer not can I afford at the moment to take it to any other shop, I am hoping someone can shed a little light and perhaps point me in the right direction.
thank you very much and I would appreciate any response at all.
Robert
