Mini Cooper 07- First Time Buyer!
Hi folks...I am ready to give up my Wrangler and purchase a brand new mini cooper! I am very excited about this but would like some guidance.
1. When is the best time to buy one? Do the prices come down after the summer?
2. Is it true that you can't bargain? Are all of the prices fixed?
3. Does anyone know if Mini of Manhattan is a good dealer? Any idea how long to order one?
4. How much am I gonna really love my Mini?
Thanks!!!!

I think now is a good time.
I got $500 off msrp plus free mats valued at $120
Also if buying a convertible, after summer is better.
End of month is always best since they meet quotas and sales contests.
Nor sure of Manhattan. I tend to think their prices may be more upscale.
Try maybe White Plains or Jersey. Shop around. They want to sell you !
As far as love goes, man oh man........
I am in love again

I think at this time you would be ordering an '08.
You can have the dealer do an new '07 search for dealers in a multi state area.
It is done all the time.
The '08 coupe had the new french built engine and is turbo charged.
The '07 coupe has the same as above unless it is a convertible, in which case is a Chrysler engine and is Supercharged. I chose this one because I was concerned about proven reliablity1st model year and new engine. I also prefer the supercharger. You should also get a better price on an '07 and there are still new ones out there.
