Default New 2010 S owner here

Just bought a black S for the wife last night. Got her an automatic, with premium package (stereo, dual a/c, sunroof), comfort blue tooth / USB and arm rest, etc, etc.

Drove it home...stomped on it a few times, surprisingly averaged 31.2 mpg. Very pleased.

Anything I should know about these cars? I've owned GTI's, Audi A4s and an RS4, and I instinctively want to mod it. I'm looking at least upgrading the wheels to a hyper silver 17 with silver "bonnet" stripes?

Anyways, I look forward to being a member.

Marty

Congrats and welcome to the forum! I just purchased a white/black top '09 "S" equipped the same way as yours. Drive it in good health!

It's actually a pretty decent car. I got it for the wife, and it's got a little punch to it. It handles good too. Not as good as my Audi RS4, but wow...it's like a go-kart!

Good luck on your car! I just bought a '10 cooper S black body/white top - manual trans, will be picking it up next week. I agree about the go kart handling part of the fun of driving it. The 17" wheels will give you a bit of a harsher ride - you're going to really feel the road.
