Default new owner with service questions

Hey guys/gals, new owner here of a 2008 silver mini cooper s. My brother in law, who owns a used car dealership got me the car with 76000 miles/automatic for $15500. I bought an extended warranty that he sells for 4 years/60000 miles so I should have good peace of mind for a while. My question is:

My mini cooper came with no owner's manual so i was wondering what major maintenance should be expected at this point of a min's life? I checked the oil dipstick and it looks clean, but I'm going to have it replaced this week with some synthetic. Also I read that the brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years. The transmission oil, based on what ive gathered so far, is that it is a lifetime oil that needs no changing????? I dont know whether to believe that or not.

sorry for the long post, thanks for reading and giving advice.

Go to Mini USA with the VIN # and you can sign up and get a download if the manual and the service interval.

You can take the VIN# /key to the dealer and they can check what services are done and what are due
