Just returned from a road trip inm y 07 MCS .It is broken in now.
let me say I'm very impressed with handling and power. very comfortable also . I netted 41 MPG with some bursts up to 100 MPH . The car draws a crowd every time .

It's great for road trips, I've done the NY - California trip 3 times in mine.

I just took my new '07 Cooper for a road trip as well, and averaged 41.5 MPG. Not bad for an automatic that isn't fully broken in yet!

I can also proudly say that my car climbed Mt. Washington, and looked cool doing it!

Those sport seats get a bit uncomfortable after sitting in them for more than 2 hours, though. I should have brought along a cushion or something!

You 07 guys are lucky. I get 28-29mpg on the highway and 21-22 around town.[:@]
