Default ?'s about light buttons in my car

Hello
I have a 2010 Mini Cooper S with jcw tuning. Looking at the dash on the left of stealing wheel there is a button with a pic of a light and the number 2 on it. What does this turn on?? I push the button and it lights up but no exterior lights come on. Also, how do I turn my lights on that are the two smaller lights between main headlights?
Sorry to sound stupid!! I've only had the car a few days and my book doesn't show the light button with the number on it.

The button near the steering wheel is the button for the driving lights or "Rally Lights ". It comes on with the high beams and has to be turned on with the button.

# 3 in the diagram is the button
