Bought a 2009 base Mini new. Now has 115K with a blown thermostat and needs alternator replaced/rebuilt. Body and interior is in excellent condition. Should I keep this car or can I expect the problems to now grow exponentially. I work on my own cars and am thinking I may be just continually chasing repairs at this point in the car's life cycel.

 

I would consider selling, The N14 engine is a known money pit. Get a newer year model 2012 + with the N18.
