Starts then dies

We have a 2012 R56 Mini, it has the 1.6 non turbo, the other day it started acting stupid, It would start then immediately die, then go to re start and it would act like the battery was dead but its good. My friend checked for codes and it had almost every code there was lol, he did a lil checking and the R6 engine relay was going nuts (constant clicking) when this would happen, we checked all the usual suspects like loose battery cables, loose connections on the fuse/relay box and everything seemed good. Has anyone ever ran into this issue, if so what was it you found to check/fix? I also checked the starter connections. Any help would be appreciated!!
