Things for a cyclist to know?
Greetings -
Newbie here. Drove a Mini Cooper S 4-door today. I liked it. She liked it.
Here's the thing. Our next car will replace our 2014 CX-5. I'd like it to be smaller. But it's gotta be able to readily haul 2 bicycles.
Can a hitch receiver be attached to a 2017-2020 Mini Cooper S? Without drilling?
Failing that, do I need to look for a model with roof racks installed? (Does the Cooper S 4-door even have them, or just the Countryman?)
By the way ... I drove a 2018 Countryman yesterday. Found it to be 'wobbly/tippy' at speed - it did not inspire confidence. In contrast, the Cooper S I drove today tracked well. Is there a common consensus on handling differences between the models?
Any & all insight welcome.
Thanks kindly,
- Richard
