Tire recommendations for '07 Cooper S
Currently have 195/55R-16 performance run flats on my '07 S with 22k miles. Looking to upgrade to a better performance, smoother and less noisy tire. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your response...currently have Goodyear Excellence tires on my S. Definitely looking to move away from the run flats. Not particularly loyal to any tire brand but on my other cars I've great luck with Michelins.

Just keep in mind that your wheel wells are close to the tire, if you have a blow out, you will shread your well. Of course if you don't drive fast, no problem. Good reason for runflats. Don't skimp on the tire if you change them out. Buy high rev tires. By the way, if your tires are noisy, they are probably cupped and that is a maintenance problem.
