On another web site http://www.motoringfile.com/2007/05/25/mini-increases-efficiency-for-2008-models/ it indicated that at least the European 2008's will get Brake Energy Regeneration and Auto Start-Stop Function. Has anyone heard if the US models will also get these functions? I am getting ready to order a Mini on-line and was wondering if it would have those features. I did not see any references on www.miniusa.com

 

I wouldn't count on it for 2008. Maybe 09 or 10.

 

Nothing as dramatic as that. The biggest thing I've seen reported is the addition of a USB port, and I think, auto-up window closers. Also, some things have been dropped from the option packages, netting a cost increase if you want those items.
