Hi, can anyone help please!
Our 2009 R55 1.6ltr Mini Clubman D has suddenly developed a problem with the central locking.
Neither of our two remote key fobs will unlock the driver or passenger doors, although the two rear end doors both lock and unlock using the fobs. Furthermore the mechanical key doesn't unlock the doors (although the windows go up and down) and neither of the two front doors can be opened from the inside. I can climb in and out through the rear doors, the car starts with the key fob/start button and drives fine. I've checked the fuses (Nos. 21 and 26 on my Mini) both are OK and have tried positioning both remotes near the receiver above the rear view mirror - no joy there either. Is there a common relay that controls the front doors locking/unlocking, if so where ? Otherwise I'm baffled.
