Default Break Pad Light (tried all things found on forum) - HELP

My mechanic has told me that he has replaced front and rear pads when doing the breaks. Also tried 2 sets of sensors and cannot get the light to go off.

I have tried all the things found on the internet. Playing with the dash tests, key in 2nd position with foot on break. Nothing seems to get the light off.

My mechanic said he thinks maybe it's something wrong with the computer and could investigate if I wanted him to.

My question is, is there anything else I can try? Is there a chance, he has not replaced the sensors? Thanks!

The Sensors are clipped in the pad.
When the pads wear thin , the sensor rubs and breaks the circuit,
They are basically just a wire folded and then cuts it when worn.
Have you checked break fluid ? Low fluid can trigger light as well.

Have you driven it a day or two since the sensor was replace? I have seen the light reset after driving for a few days.

I've driven it a while. Mechanic seems to think either they are bad sensors or the computer is malfunctioning. I'm going to get in there this weekend and check the connections.

if you have the old sensors cut them and strip back the wires and connect them together and plug that in and see if the light clears

you can also check the sensors with an ohmmeter
