I have an 06 R50 and noticed on one of the cooling fan blades two metal clips. Are these used as a blade balance or was it part of the shipping packaging

Noticed when the cooling fan is on it is a bit loud/slight vibration didn’t know if this could be the reason Thanks!!

That balances the blade, yes. Look at your old fan and see if their are marks from an older balance weight, if so they it flew off and you will need whole new fan.
