Hi all, I have just purchased my first Mini Cooper R50 six speed 2006. The problem I’m having is the gear stick is very stiff in neutral, it does not return to its normal place when moving it side to side, it’s very hard to get into gears also it’s very stiff when changing to any gear and really hard to get into reverse.
Makes no difference if the engine is on or off, or when you dip clutch or not it’s still really stiff.
The car has been standing outside for a few months if this has anything to do with it I just don’t know.
If there is a thread to this problem already please accept my apologies I did a search but couldn’t find one.
