I'm looking for a new car. Currently I'm driving a 98 BMW 328i convertible and frankly I'm sick of BMW engineering costing me time and money. That being said I love the BMW drive/look and from the MINI I recently test drove, it seems that the positives of BMW driving have transferred through to the MINI!! However, I am verrrry worried that the negative problems of BMW have also been passed on...
While I'm looking around at other cars I can't seem to get my mind off of the MINI Cooper

Could someone please be honest with me and share some of the known issues with the 03-06 Mini Cooper and Cooper S models?
