My son has an R50 and the indicator stalk has the red light on the end of the stalk on all of the time. This is when driving and when parked. It never flashes etc and it’s a problem when he leaves it for a few days and the battery runs down. Now I’m sure he might need a battery but I wanted to know peoples thoughts on why the light is on all the time. What is worrying me is whether it could have anything to do with the ecu. When he bought it they needed to add another key and reprogrammed the ecu. After a while he noticed the aircon wouldn’t switch on and the red light on all the time. The aircon was fixed with a mod to the wiring bit the red light has always stayed on.

So any ideas or thoughts on this, could be a faulty stalk or something a little more complex
