R50 seat warmers?
Hello, I recently bought my first (and probably not the last) Mini. It’s a ‘02 R50 base.
Prior to this I’ve owned probably a dozen LR discovery 2’s. (99-04’s) In the Discos, all of them came equipped with seat warmers, just no button to turn them on unless you had the higher trim levels. Wires for them were just unplugged and tucked behind the window switch bezel. So if you get lucky and find a SE7/HSE7 at the junkyard, you could cannibalize the buttons/bezel then install them on your lower trim disco and have working heated seats.
Did Mini/BMW do similar asinine practices with the R50/R53s? Hoping more knowledgeable owners can confirm if I can apply the same logic
