Default Spark Plugs

Which spark plugs should I use, and what should the gap be? The "hand book" that came with the car, doesn't have this imformation!

I'm a new Mini owner but I've owned a few cars in my short span of life so far but my #1 choice of spark plug is NGK. As far as the recommended gap goes for the plugs, its 0.032. The gap gets a little larger as you get into the better series but only up to about 0.04 or somewhere around there. I hope this helps

I am seeking advice on replacement spark plug brand and type. I recently purchased a '06 MCS convertible that is throwing a "cylinder #4 misfire" fault on occasion. It seems the easiest and cheapest place to start is plugs. The car has 54k on it, so maybe this is time? Anyway, I did a search of this site and didn't find too much. I also searched internet and find about 20 different kinds of plugs that meet the spec -- yikes! I don't want to do the job twice. Some have said the Bosch blow out? NGK seems to be a favorite? Any advice is appreciated.
