Default Suspension Upgrade

I need to replace the shocks on my 02 cooper and I'm looking at coil over. What is the best bang for the buck for the street? Or should I not go with coil over?

I'm headed towards these when my stockers go ... Rode in a mini with them and nice stiff ride / you'll also need camber plates and trailing arms if you plan to use them to lower

What do you mean by trailing arms? Do you mean control arms? They make adjustable control arms for the rear.

yes trailing/control arms for the rear and caster plates for the front if you want to maintain alignment
